As a part of their Rare Revealed series, game developer Rare has released a new video about the making of the beloved Nintendo 64 1998 platformer, Banjo-Kazooie.

The video sheds some light on various topics, such as the game’s musical inspirations from franchises like Star Wars, some inside jokes from the developers that made it into the game, how they reworked their ideas from their cancelled game Dream into Banjo-Kazooie, and many more tiny and fun facts.

The video is also very playful and includes some bits and pieces of British humor, also referencing some adult, somewhat inappropriate jokes the developers managed to sneak into the series.

Banjo-Kazooie is a 3D platformer developed by Rare and released in 1998 for the Nintendo 64. After Microsoft acquired Rare back in 2002, and since then, the game has been made available for purchase on Xbox 360. The game also received a digital remaster for the Xbox One in last year’s Rare Replay.
